Lower Disaster Recovery Costs

Disaster Recovery planning can be very expensive and stressful because it typically involves a mirrored server set up in an off-site location.  Owning, updating and storing this duplicate infrastructure can double or even triple your IT budget.  However, using a Green House Data cloud for a disaster recovery solution can drastically cut disaster recovery costs by 70% and still provide a reliable DR system that can be accessed in as little as seconds. It might sound too good to be true, but see our price example, or even get a quote for your company.
Basically, we design a regularly scheduled upload of your critical data into our cloud.   Our cloud servers power up, load your data and then power back down into a sleep mode.  This is much less expensive than running back up servers all day everyday.  Your data is kept safe and secure while only running at full power for a select time of the day.  We’ll work with your company’s specific DR requirements to determine a budget friendly, reliable plan.

See how much you could save with a Cloud Disaster Recovery model.

Everyone is talking about cloud computing these days.  But, it seems there are common questions that go along with it.  What is it?  What does it do?  How can it benefit my business?  Over the next several newsletters, our goal is to give you real business scenarios that show how your business can save money by switching to the cloud.

Green Tip:  Save Money and Waste by Changing Your Font Type

Did you know that different font types use different amounts of ink when printed?  In a study done by printer.com, it was found that Century Gothic font uses 30% less ink than the standard Arial font.  Of course, going paperless is the most obvious way to save on toner and paper, but if you must print a document, try switching to Century Gothic  so you can save money and be a little greener, too.
