A Green Data Center
What is a Green Data Center?
The Green House Data Center is a 10,000 square foot green data center that is powered entirely through renewable wind energy. The high-availability and secure facility operates at a 40% lower energy utilization per square foot than comparable data centers. This translates directly into more computing power using less energy in a given building. This energy savings correlates into a cost savings for our customers.

How do we do it?
Highly Efficient CRAC Units – and free cooling from Cheyenne’s average annual temperatures of 45.6 degrees.
Hot-Aisle Heat Containment – maximizing cooling efficiency by enclosing the heat released by server racks into a hot-isle and releasing heat through the roof.
Modular Scalable Data Center – matching maximum efficiencies without over building and waste.
Efficient Floor Layout and Design – aligning hot aisle/cold aisles and redefining the cage space concept.
Highly Efficient IT Equipment – spin down disk technology and servers with the highest power to performance ratios.
Virtualization – cloud hosting environment that reduces energy waste from idle servers and IT equipment.
