Green House Data, a leading provider of cloud hosting, colocation, and a VMware® vCloud powered partner, today announced it will break ground on a new data center in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The 35,000 square foot (sq ft) facility will be located at 340 Progress Circle, with the first phase of the project scheduled to be completed by the end of the first quarter 2014.
Green House Data chose the location in the Cheyenne Business Parkway for proximity to existing infrastructure and potential for growth. In addition, Wyoming offers protection from natural disasters, and the central location paired with Green House Data’s 100 gigabit per second (Gbps) network and carrier redundancy means low latency to data center hubs nationwide.
